Amanda Hall

Amanda trained at the Royal Academy of Music, graduating with a BMus (Hons) and LRAM.  Currently performing in The Sound of Music at the London Palladium, Amanda also recently played the roles of The Nurse, Mrs Winthrop and Mrs Medlock in the RSC’s production of The Secret Garden in the West End and Stratford-upon-Avon. Other roles include Carlotta, Phantom of the Opera, UK National Tour; Mrs Potts, Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, Dominion Theatre, London: Carlotta, Das Phantom Der Oper, European Tour: Lynne, A Grand Night for Singing, UK Saged Premiere: Miss Mysticism, Love Life, The Barbican, London: Union Lady, Evita, UK National Tour and Oslo Spectrum.

Classical credits in addition to numerous oratorios include Candide¸ Batignano Opera Festival, Italy, and Second Woman, Dido and Aeneas, The Purcess Room, London: Silberklang, Der Schauspieldirektor, and La Boheme, Bath City Opera. She is also featured on the original cast albums for Das Phantom Der Oper, The Secret Garden and Something Special.

Amanda’s cabarets, Live & Lovely and Blonde & Bubbly, have played at top venues all over the capital and, whilst heavily pregnant, she took her newest show The Baby Shower on tour. She then put her feet up and orchestrated her greatest production to date (…he’s called Edward and is now three years old!) Since then, she has toured the country doing concerts and giving masterclasses and was Head of HE Performing Arts at Amersham and Wycombe College where she worked on the artistic teams of Godspell, HONK!, Into The Woods, Lucky Stiff, Pippin and The Wiz at the Elgiva.
