Luke Fetherston

Luke is currently studying at Arts Ed. Since starting with Songtime he has played numerous leads in a multitude of musicals.

He has performed in the stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar, and followed this by appearing in the same musical on film/DVD with Rik Mayall. Other credits include; Fiddler on the Roof, Guys and Dolls, HONK!, Annie, Oliver! as Noah, Fame, Joseph, West Side Story as Baby John (receiving a 'Best 'Supporting Actor' and 'Best Dancer' nomination), Anything Goes as Billy (receiving a 'Best Actor' nomination), Les Miserables (Schools Edition) as both Thenardier and Marius, Copacabana as Willy, The Bakers Wife as Claude, and Singin’ in the Rain as Cosmo. In 2004 Luke won Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Guiteau in Assassins and the year prior to this was presented with the Matthew Chandler Fellowship Award for Performing. Luke appeared in the hit film Billy Elliot and was recently selected to audition for the part of Marius in the nationwide school’s edition of Les Miserables . Having first appeared with Brilliant Productions in Fame!, Luke is thrilled to be playing the role of Linus and would like to thank his fantastic family, his awesome friends, and his wicked teachers for their support and encouragement.
