Matthew has performed with many local societies over the years.  Favourite roles include Snoopy, Snoopy – The Musical, Tony, West Side Story, Tobias, Sweeney Todd; Billy Lawlor, 42nd Street: Baby John, West Side Story: Paul, A Chorus Line: Barnaby, Hello Dolly: Gideon, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers: Mordred, Camelot and Puck, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

He has recently moved into direction and choreography, choreographing the NODA commended production of West Side Story at the Alban Arena in 2006 and Snoopy – The Musical for Brilliant Productions. He has recently commenced work on 42nd Street which he is both directing and choreographing.

Matthew also teaches and studies tap and modern dance at various schools in and around Hertfordshire
