Peter Dodsworth
Peter trained at the Royal Academy of Music, London
as a joint principal study bassoonist and pianist. He was the first
person in the history of the R.A.M. to win the Florence Woodbridge
Bassoon Prize in their first year of study and subsequently was asked
to play at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
His enthusiasm for musical theatre
grew whilst at music college and his professional career in this field
took off just before he left. His music director/conducting credits
include Chess(Churchill
Theatre, Bromley) Company (Catford Broadway
Theatre), Cabaret (Catford Theatre) and A
Celebration of Christmas (Jermyn
St. Theatre), and he has been repetiteur for The Yeomen
of the Guard and Mack and Mabel (Churchill
Theatre), and The Mikado (Pleasance Theatre).
He has compiled and directed cabarets at 'Pizza on the Park', 'The
Water Rats' and various other London venues.

our Song (Edinburgh), The Phantom & the
Opera (West
End and UK Tour) and The Lion King (West
End).
Peter has also recently been Musical Director for Spend,
Spend, Spend! at Amersham & Wycombe College, working
with the first year HND students. He is one of the singing teachers
for Boden Studios & Agency in Enfield (Britain's first ever combined
stage school for children) and is also an organist and choir master.
Peter
enjoys his career in musical theatre alongside his individual and masterclass
teaching and his ensemble and solo concert work which has taken him
