Richard Sellek
Richard has performed in a wide variety of plays and musicals. For Night
People Productions, Richard toured several reviews nationally, stopping
off to perform at London’s Guildhall and The Kings
Head, Islington. He has also recorded two tribute CDs: Abba and
Boyzone, and combines a demanding teaching career with singing for the
swing/functions band Chapter Eight, with engagements including
The Café Royale, The Royal Pavilion, Brighton, Cutlers Hall and the Alban
Arena. Theatre credits include principal roles in The King and I,
Chicago, Hot Mikado, The Mikado, Iolanthe, Patience, Me & My Girl,
Charlie Girl, Half A Sixpence, Hello Dolly!, Kiss Me Kate, Fiddler On
The Roof, Sweet Charity, You’re Gonna Love Tomorrow, A to Zee, Born For
Broadway, Chess, Back In Business, Friends Five, The Threepenny Opera,
Carousel, Follies, Brigadoon, Assassins, South Pacific, ‘Tis Pity She’s
A Whore, Fool For Love, The Maids, A Taste of Honey, Finnian’s Rainbow
and Into The Woods. Most recently Richard was a principal
vocalist in Brilliant Productions’: A Grand Night For Singing,
played Robert in their award winning production of Company
at the Pump House, Watford, and was a featured vocalist for Intervals
at the Palace Theatre, Watford.
